Jason Rakochy is a seasoned energy executive with over 25 years of global leadership across oil and gas, power, and renewables. Known for his calm clarity under pressure, Jason has led large, complex operations and capital projects through market volatility, technological change, and organizational transformation.

He has held senior executive roles at Suncor, Hydro One, and Eavor Technologies — spanning upstream and downstream operations, engineering, M&A, and energy strategy. From overseeing billion-dollar capital portfolios to guiding utility modernization and scaling next-generation geothermal systems, Jason brings grounded insight into what it takes to lead effectively in high-stakes, volatile environments.

With degrees in Chemical Engineering and Commerce, and a graduate of Harvard Business School’s General Management Program, Jason blends strategic depth with operational execution. He speaks candidly about navigating ambiguity, driving performance, and leading with intention in times of complexity.

Jason, his wife Vanessa, and their two sons reside in Calgary, Alberta.
