Craig Latimer is a lifelong entrepreneur who thrives at the intersection of bold ideas, real-world impact, and just enough chaos to keep things interesting.

As the CEO and Founder of Portage Energy Group, Craig is leading the charge in transforming waste into clean fuels. Since walking away from his last corporate job over 25 years ago, he’s also founded ventures in fintech (ZayZoon), health & wellness (Aeon Future Health), field operations software (Spira Data Corp), and contributes to social impact through the Missing Children’s Society of Canada.

He’s passionate about tackling tough, meaningful challenges—while occasionally negotiating peace treaties with his ADHD brain, which prefers its own agenda.

When he’s not building businesses, you’ll find Craig carving fresh lines in the mountains, getting way too serious about pickleball — it’s like tennis, but with less dignity and more snack breaks — or answering the eleventy-billionth “why?” from his two young boys. Thankfully, he has a great wife who keeps the whole circus running smoothly.
